About this Service

At Stony Brook Medicine, the clinical IT teams support a variety of Surgical Requests with our Cerner Millenium EMR.  Please read the following information carefully prior to selecting the appropriate offering.

Anesthesia Record Removal
Records can be removed based on date and record/case number.  Limited to 3 dates of service per request.

Adding a Surgical Procedure
Addition of a new surgical procedure, including operating area and procedure timing.  Limited to 5 procedures per request.

Adding a New Surgical Tray/Instrument
Addition of new equipment, instrument or tray to a surgical area.  Limited to 5 procedures per request.

Southampton Surgical Billing Request
Addition of new supply items for surgical cases.  For Stony Brook Southampton only.

Additional Information

Any issues with patient care on applications/systems, such as Cerner, Eclipsys or PACS, SHOULD NOT be submitted through the IT self-service portal.
