Preventing Workplace Violence Training

Welcome to the Preventing Workplace Violence Training Assistance Page!

It is the responsibility of all employees to work to create and maintain a workplace free from threats and acts of violence. 

All employees are required to take the Preventing Workplace Violence Training annually.  This training defines workplace violence, teaches the importance of preventing workplace violence, teaches employees to understand the impact of workplace violence on employees and organizations, and provides guidance on when and to whom to report a case of workplace violence.

Important Dates to Remember: New hires have 30 days to complete the training.  For existing employees, the training is due on November 30th of each calendar year.
