About this Service
Stony Brook Medicine utilizes a single, secure, reliable, state-of-the-art, Voice-over-Internet Protocol (VoIP) communications service, currently using Unify, with a transition to the Cisco platform underway. VoIP technology allows voice calls over broadband Internet, rather than through a traditional, analog connection.
For mobile use, SBMIT also supports the use of the CISCO Mobile Phone. These phones are wireless, handheld, non-cellular devices utilized in a multi-user environment (like the Emergency Department).
For assistance with your CISCO Mobile Device, please select a service offering to the right.
