About this Service
Cerner Printing is the process by which certain printable content contained within the Cerner EMR can be routed and printed to a Cerner Print Queue. This process does not require the printer to be physically installed on the workstation, and so any Cerner Printer can be chosen as a printing destination.
To request a new Cerner Print Queue, you will need a Cerner-certified printer (link below), as well as the IP Address of the printer. Once built, the new Cerner Print Queue will be given a Queue Name. (ex: "ABCD")
