About this Service
SBMIT offers several shared calendar options, as described below.
Personal Shared Calendar: this type of calendar is built within a user's personal Outlook Email account, used to share important project dates, departmental dates, etc. This type of calendar is created and managed by the user who creates it.
Global Shared Calendar: global shared calendars are used to manage schedules for conference rooms and other shared spaces, and are built by our SBMIT teams. This type of calendar is generally accessible by all Outlook users.
SharePoint Calendar: employees can use a SharePoint calendar to store team events, including meetings, social events, and all-day events. You can also track team milestones, such as deadlines or product release dates, that are not specific to a time interval. With a calendar on the SharePoint site, you and your colleagues will have easy access to common schedules, resources and dates. SharePoint calendars can be imported into Outlook.
