5/10/24: Last day to request a quote for Non-Standard equipment.
 

5/15/24: Last day for orders placed to be funded from FY 23/24 funds. Any orders placed after that date will be funded with FY 24/25 funds.
  

About this Service

Stony Brook Medicine IT (SBMIT) has developed a standardized list of equipment in order to streamline the purchasing and support of all hardware.  All equipment has been tested for performance and capabilities to ensure the computing demands of employees are met.  Additionally, all SBMIT equipment has been tested and validated to support the technical needs of the clinical environment.

In the event that non-standard equipment is needed, please choose Request A Quote.  You will be asked to describe the non-standard equipment you are requesting, as well as provide justification for the request.  Please note, SBMIT cannot guarantee the support of non-standard hardware.

All purchases, as well as non-standard requests, are subject to approval by departmental leadership.
