About this Service

Stony Brook Medicine keeps a vast catalog of both clinical and non-clinical applications for employee use.  The various applications supported by the entirely of SBMIT can be found in this service, with the list continually being modified.  For assistance with any application, or to make a request for installation, please use the service offerings to the right.

Please Note:  Unauthorized installation of non-supported software is out of the scope of established policies of SBMIT.  Non-supported software and applications are subject to immediate denial and/or removal, without notice.  The use of software obtained from any other source could present security and legal threats to the organization, and such use is strictly prohibited, unless expressly permitted by SBMIT.  To keep current with all SBMIT security policies, periodic assessments of software use on SBMIT computers may be completed. 

It is the responsibility of the departments of Stony Brook Medicine to comply with this statement on all departmental computer equipment.  This includes the purchase of all required software and licensing.

Softweb is Stony Brook's software distribution website.  Software available on this site may be subject to licensing agreements. Individuals downloading any of these applications are responsible for reading and understanding all licensing agreements and adhering to them.  Access requires a NetID login.
