Zoom

Zoom is a video and audio conferencing tool with easy collaboration, chat, screen sharing and more across mobile devices, desktops, and telephones.

Desktop Phones

The university is current using Cisco VoIP phones. The Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) technology allows the user to make voice calls over broadband internet, rather than through a traditional, analog connection. VoIP phone can look just like a traditional office desk phone.

Unified Communications

The university is currently using Cisco WebEx for our UC services. Unified communications (UC) is an umbrella term for the integration of multiple enterprise communication tools -- such as voice calling, video conferencing, instant messaging (IM), presence, content sharing, etc. -- into a single, streamlined interface, with the goal of improving user experience (UX) and productivity.

Call and Contact Center

The university is currently using Cisco Contact Center. Contact Center is an integrated and usually automated communications system that coordinates all telephone and electronic contacts between an organization and the public.

University Issued Cell Phones/Mobile Devices

Support for all SBU issued mobile (wireless) communication devices. This includes cell phones, mifi's and iPads.

Analog Dial Tone (Fax/polycom)

Analog line, also referred to as POTS (Plain Old Telephone Service), support standard phones, fax machines, and modems.
