Starting a new position comes with new people, new systems, new resources, and lots of questions. The New Employee Buddy Program is designed to help you feel welcomed, connected, and supported during your first 90 days at Stony Brook.
By requesting a Buddy, you will be paired with a trained, experienced Stony Brook employee who can serve as an informal resource as you navigate the University, build connections, and become more familiar with our campus community.
Your Buddy is not your supervisor or an HR representative. They are a peer connection who can help answer general questions, share resources, and help you discover Stony Brook.
