Request to add 3rd party tool to Brightspace

Instructors who wish to have a 3rd party tool added to Brightspace must submit a request here for the Learning Tools Implementation Team to review.

All tools must be vetted for functionality, security, and accessibility. To ensure sufficient time for each team to complete their review, requests must be submitted by the deadlines listed below.

Submission Deadlines for Free Tools

(No cost – Procurement not required)

  • February 1 – Consideration for the following Fall/Winter
  • September 1 – Consideration for the following Spring/Summer

Submission Deadlines for Tools That Must Be Purchased

(There is a cost – Procurement required)

  • November 1 – Consideration for the following Fall/Winter implementation
  • March 1 – Consideration for the following Spring/Summer implementation
